Jack is a 1958 graduate of Boston University Law School. His areas of concentration include probate administration, personal injury and accident cases, residential real estate and general litigation.

Jack has been active in numerous professional civil and religious activities including service as a member of the Executive Committee and Treasurer of the Berkshire County Bar Association, member of the Board of Directors of The Boys' and Girls' Club, Inc., advocate for Berkshire County Knights of Columbus, past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hillcrest Hospital, Trustee of the Silvio O. Conte Scholarship Foundation and member of the Berkshire Community College Board of Trustees.

After completing his education, Jack became associated with the late Congressman Silvio O. Conte's law firm. Through the years, he has conducted an active general law practice servicing both individual and corporate clients. He has gained experience in civil and criminal litigation, probate, commercial law and all types of real estate transfer and real estate development transactions. John Sr. is recently retired.
