Peter is a 1983 graduate of Suffolk University School of Law. His areas of concentration are family and divorce
law, criminal defense, real estate law, personal injury matters and civil litigation with an emphasis on
construction disputes. Peter is a past member of the Executive Committee of the Berkshire Bar Association and
is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Central Berkshire Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
While attending law school, Peter worked as an intern at the Berkshire County District Attorneyís Office in the
summer of 1982. During his final year at law school he worked part time for Reservitz and Steinberg in Brockton,
Massachusetts . In 1983, Peter worked as a student prosecutor for the Middlesex County District Attorneyís Office.
Upon graduation, he has practiced in Pittsfield, both as an associate for other attorneys and as a sole
practitioner. Peter joined Martin & Oliveira, as a partner on June 1, 2000. He has appeared before the Appeals
Courts and Supreme Judicial Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
